Abstract:The constructed reservoirs, hydropower stations, drainage systems and pump stations on three rivers,Liao-River, Hun-River and Taizi-River,were surveyed from the periods of before 1956,1956-1979,1980-1989,1990-1999,and 2000-2010. Based on these statistical data, the impacts of hydraulic projects on runoff coefficient and peak discharge were analyzed. The study results indicate that:1.the numbers of hydraulic projects increased from 1956 to 2011,most of which constructed during 1956-1979; 2. as the hydraulic projects increase, the impact of human activities weighed on the changing of runoff process at rivers, the precipitation no obvious changed, but runoff depth and runoff coefficient decreased. Compared to 1956-1979,the precipitation changed within 10% in 1980-1989,1990-1999,2000-2011,while runoff depth and runoff coefficient decreased 10% to 50% for Liao-River,10% to 20% for Taizi-River,and slightly for Hun-River;3.the regulating effect of hydraulic projections on peak discharge has been constantly increasing.
