Design and application of soil moisture automatic monitoring system in Jiangsu Province

Abstract:In order to accurately and rapidly grasp the soil moisture information in the main areas of Jiangsu Province, 27 fixed soil moisture automatic monitoring stations and 40 mobile soil moisture automatic monitoring stations in 13 hydrological sub-bureaus of Jiangsu Province were established in accordance with the requirements of the project "Soil moisture collection system of the second phase of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Command System(Jiangsu Part)". Taking the design and application of the fixed soil moisture automatic monitoring station as an example, the background, design and application of the soil moisture monitoring system are discussed in detail, and the accuracy of the monitoring system is tested and analyzed. The system realizes the automation of soil moisture monitoring and information transmission in Jiangsu Province. It can grasp the soil moisture status of Jiangsu province in real time and provides accurate basis for flood control and drought relief work. Its design concept and relevant application experience can be used for reference by other regions.
