Abstract:Taking the control watershed of the Lejia Garden Hydrological Station on the Tonghui River in the central urban area of Beijing as the study area, land use data in different periods were collected, and the characteristics of underlying surface change in different periods from late 1950s to 2000 were analyzed using ArcGIS, and based on the regional precipitation and runoff data in the same period, the water balance method and Mike Urban Model's time area method are applied to study the impact of urbanization on the confluence of runoff by simulating and calculating the typical precipitation and runoff processes of several events, so as to provide technical support for urban hydrological forecasting, flood control and rainwater resource utilization. The results show that:in the 1950s, the regional precipitation tended to be in the state of natural runoff. In the 1980s to the middle and late of 1990s,the process of urbanization was accelerated, the duration of runoff shortened significantly, the rate of runoff changed from slow to fast, and the total amount of flood and peak flow generated by precipitation of the same level increased significantly.Since 2000,the runoff generated by precipitation of the same level has decreased compared with that in the 1990s.
