Research on flood dispatching scheme of large reservoirs in Jinhua River Basin, Zhejiang Province

Abstract:With the development of social economy and the construction of flood prevention projects in Jinhua River Basin, the original flood dispatching schemes have gradually become incompatible with the existing projects. Three conditions of which are the current situation,the non-drainage dispatching plan,and the pre-discharge dispatching scheme of two large reservoirs named Hengjin and Nanjiang are calculated and analyzed. Because the reservoir control area is limited, the optimal scheduling has limited impact on improving downstream flood control capacity. In order to provide technical support for flood control command of Jinhua River Basin, it is suggested to consider non-structural measures such as cross peak dispatching of large reservoirs,the coordination of dispatching authority of different magnitude floods, the preparation of flood risk maps,and the preparation of extra-large flood plans.
