Abstract:The influence of Shahe Bridge Project on river flood discharge in Shenqiu County of Henan Province is studied by using two-dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model,and the influence of engineering construction on river water level and flow velocity is obtained. The results show that the influence of engineering construction on river flood discharge is mainly water blocking,and the influence on river regime stability is small. The results are useful for evaluating the construction's influence on floods,and can also provide basis for the operation and management of the project in the future.
