Abstract:Flood prevention and drainage patterns of Beijing central city is critical for coping with flood and waterlog disasters in the capital. Based on the historical information, this paper analyzes the evolution trend and major influencing factors of the flood prevention and drainage patterns of Beijing central city, and summarizes the application and role of the current status of flood prevention and drainage patternx. In terms of the new situation of the capital city's development and management demand, this paper analyzes the issues need to be solved in the flood prevention and drainage patterns, such as the need of promoting urban function coordination, the local poor flood drainage, the prominent contradiction with ecological water storage and the ambiguous measures of over level flood. Aiming at these problems, some optimization suggestions on improving flood-diversion and storage projects and adjusting flood drainage approaches are proposed.
