Analysis of rainstorm and flood based on bibliometrics in China

Abstract:According to the rainstorm and flood subject documents collected in CNKI database, using the method of bibliometrics, the research status of rainstorm and flood in recent 40 years in China from the aspects of annual published papers, research institutions, researchers, research journals, cited literature and support funds was analyzed objectively. The results show that: ① the number of inter annual papers is on the rise, accounting for 62.7% of the total number of documents from 2006 to 2019; ② the research institutions are mainly provincial hydrological and water resources bureaus; ③ the papers published by the state key laboratorys and water resources research institutes are cited frequently; ④ researcher DONG Zengchuan of Hohai University has the largest contribution in the research of rainstorm and flood; ⑤ the journal that published the most papers on rainstorm and flood is Hydrology; ⑥ the main fund supporting the research of rainstorm and flood is the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
