Abstract:As the main source of "calculation data" with high spatial-temporal characteristics, remote sensing technology plays an important role in the construction of digital twin river basin, and water works remote sensing is facing a great development opportunity. The application status and existing problems of remote sensing technology in water sector are analyzed, and the general idea and technical framework of remote sensing technology in digital twin river basin construction are put forward. The main contents and key technical routes are described from the aspects of building an integrated water sector remote sensing service platform, improving the intelligent level of remote sensing target identification and change detection, breaking through the key technologies of space- based integrated water regime monitoring and digital mapping, and improving the intelligent remote sensing service capability in river basins. It is expected to provide integrated remote sensing intelligent services with higher precision, stronger timelines, wider coverage and more accurate information for the construction of the digital twin river basins.
