Abstract:In the karst area, the flood discharge of betrunk gully (the small tail-broken mountain valley) mainly relies on the sinkholes along the line. The study of the flood discharge capacity of the sinkholes is the key to the governance of betrunk flood gully, and can provide decision-making basis for the prevention and response of mountain flood disasters. In this study, the entropy weight method is used to systematically analyze the flood discharge capacity of betrunk flood gully, which can provide a basis for the hydrological calculation of flood discharge capacity in the flood gully. Taking No. 1 to 7 sinkholes Qiubei county of Yunnan province as the research object, the perimeter, average diameter, average water depth, and average depth of each sinkhole as the analysis indicators. The research shows that: it is concluded that the weight of each indicator respectively is 22.63%, 40.02%, 7.94%, 29.41% through the analysis of entropy weight method. And the flood discharge capacity of each sinkhole according to its weight is calculated. In the same way, the analysis and calculation of the flood discharge capacity of No. 7 sinkhole is 68.15 m3/s, which is greater than the P=10% flood standard of 28.20 m3/s, which could meet the flood discharge requirements.
