Abstract: The advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of flood prevention system in Shanghai are evaluated and summarized using the SWOT analysis method. On this basis,the references and ideas about city flood prevention and waterlogged alleciation planning are given from strengthening comprehensive harnessing of rivers,improving the drainage capacity of water conservation,improving the standard of flood prevention and waterlogged alleviation to ensure that the "global city"flood prevention security,and constructing of multi-department linkage mechanism to provide actively respond to extreme climate impaction.
