Abstract: During the flood season in 2021, affected by heavy rainfall, flash flood disasters have occurred many times in the mountain areas of Southern Anhui Province and Dabie Mountain Area in Anhui Province, resulting in a direct economic loss of about 720 million yuan. This paper systematically combs the scientific response measures for flash flood disaster prevention in Anhui Province in 2021, summarizes and considers the defense practices such as pre flood preparation, flood season inspection and emergency disposal, and puts forward suggestions for the next step.
