Abstract: The river basin flood control system is the first line of defense against the threat of flood disasters and ensuring flood safety.It is related to the safe development of the river basin and the safety of people's lives and properties.In recent years,extreme weather events occur frequently in Songhua River basin,and the suddenness,abnormality and uncertainty of flood disasters are more prominent.The high-quality development of the basin puts forward higher requirements for flood management and disaster reduction.Based on the actual situation of Songhua River basin flood prevention,the new situation,new requirements and main current problems in the construction of flood control system of the basin are put forward.and construction ideas and countermeasures are made on further improvement of flood management and disaster reduction system.
