Abstract:
The main stream of the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia below Sanshenggong has a long wandering section with severe river regime fluctuations and widespread occurrences of beach and bank collapses, seriously endangering the safety of the embankment. This research systematically analyze the control effect of the implemented river regulation project on the river regime, and examine the role, advantages and disadvantages of different river regulation schemes. Based on the characteristics of the Inner Mongolia river section and the effectiveness of the implemented projects, it is proposed that the section should be trained by combining the micro bend regulation with the bank protection measures. The effect of engineering construction measures proposed according to the river regulation scheme is verified and analyzed by using the two-dimensional water and sediment mathematical model.
