Abstract:
In order to study the applicability of rainfall observation instruments in the high value area of rainstorm, the observation accuracy and stability of various instruments under different rainfall levels of time, day, month and year were compared and analyzed by using the observation data of two groups of three kinds of rain gauges with different resolutions from the Yunnan Xima Rainfall National Field Science Observation and Research Station in the high value area of rainstorm in western Yunnan. The results show that in the high value area of rainstorm in Xima Town, there is little difference between the precipitation observation errors of 0.1 mm, 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm resolution instruments, and they can be used. Among them, the observation accuracy and stability of 0.1 mm resolution are better than the other two, followed by 1.0 mm resolution, and then 0.5 mm resolution. This conclusion provides a reference for the diversified selection of precipitation observation instruments in the future.
