Abstract:
In order to explore the impact of typhoons on Nanjing city, this paper uses mathematical statistics, cumulative anomaly, MK test and other methods to make statistical analysis of the annual and interannual changes of typhoons affecting Nanjing City from 1949 to 2019, and analyzes the impact of typhoons on the precipitation of Nanjing city according to the different landing location, typhoon path and landing month. The results show that the number of typhoons affecting Nanjing has a significant inter-annual change, and the number of typhoons increases significantly in the past 10 years, and the typhoon landing time is mainly concentrated in August to September. The typhoon that affected the rainfall in Nanjing mainly fell into category Ⅱ, and the typhoons landing in Shanghai and in September brought the highest average precipitation. Through the analysis, we further improve the understanding of the typhoons that affected Nanjing.
