Application of breach monitoring system in flood control and rescue

In recent years, under the influence of heavy rainfall and other weather conditions, rivers and lakes run for a long time with high water level, and river and lake dikes are prone to breach danger. In order to give timely warning of flood control, this paper first introduces the breach monitoring system. Accordingly, taking the dam break in the drill area of Jiangsu Flood Control and Rescue Training Center as an example, the flood control monitoring simulation drill is carried out with the breach monitoring system. The results show that: The breach monitoring system can effectively collect and transmit monitoring data, which provides a solid basis for the flood control headquarters to make decisions. The system has strong operability and high accuracy, and can be further applied to similar emergency deployment of flood control.
