Flood investigation and analysis of Juma River,Beijing of Haihe "23·7" basin-wide extreme flood and suggestions on river regulation

    • Affected by Typhoon "Doksuri" heading north, continuous rainfall occurred in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from July 29 to August 2 of 2023, resulting in a "23·7" catastrophic flood in the Haihe River Basin, causing serious casualties and property damage. This article conducts a flood investigation on the Juma River in Beijing, and based on a thorough analysis of the current situation of Juma River treatment, mainly uses the calculation method of natural river constant flow surface line and uniform flow to calculate the flow rate corresponding to flood marks and review the Juma River floods and analyze the frequency of this flood. Based on the results of flood analysis and the situation of flood damage, planning and treatment suggestions are proposed from the aspects of spatial delineation of the Juma River water body, river regulation, and building design, providing reference for subsequent river regulation.
