Abstract:In order to meet the practical needs of flood and drought disaster prevention in Hunan Province and provide effective support for decision-making in flood control and drought relief, This paper designs and develops Hunan flood and drought disaster risk management system. The system consists of four modules, the integrated information, survey results, real-time analysis and dynamic display. Be geared to the needs of flood, drought and other major disasters, covering all the main aspects of flood and drought disaster management and realizing the functions such as basic data inquiry, basin-wide combined dispatching, flood process drills, disaster losses statistics and promptly risk assessment. It effectively helps in real-time, visualization and delicacy of flood and drought disaster risk management, and promoting the service capability and decision-making in flood control and drought relief.
